Nazis Again

Nazis again! Now it’s Nazis getting standing ovations in Canadian Parliament. Who is shocked and surprised? No educated person of conscience is surprised by the hubris of Trudeau and his Nazi-hugging moveable feast. Yes, someone (the B’nai Brith) has finally noticed one Nazi, because a standing ovation to Nazis in parliament was one step too far. It had to get that obvious for someone to take notice. This happened, despite the fact that Melissa Lantsman, Canada’s first female Jewish MP, currently sits there. Congratulations Canada, it’s a new very public Nazi-cajoling low for you and historically you were already way down there in the basement.

What’s that? You don’t believe this has ever happened in Canada before? Canadian politicians don’t support Nazis? What does a Nazi look like to you? This is Oleh Tyahnybok the leader of Ukraine’s ultra-nationalist Svoboda party. It’s basically a Ukrainian Nazi party. Here’s Oleh Tyahnybok himself demonstrating their salute.

Don’t believe that? Let the BBC tell you he’s a Nazi. Back in 2012, they saw it. Svoboda’s most electable members in Lviv actually founded a blog in 2010 called the “Joseph Goebbels Political Research Centre” and later re-branded it the “Ernst Jünger Political Research Centre“ because too many average Americans actually recognized Goebbels as a Nazi! Yes, it’s that obvious. Now here’s Canada’s John Baird meeting with Oleh Tyahnybok, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Vitali Klitschko and Paul Grod former UCC president. That covers the blue side of your political team shirt war. Now, let’s do red.

Here’s Andriy Parubiy he co-founded and led two neo-Nazi organizations, the Social-National Party of Ukraine (later renamed Svoboda – see above) and Patriot of Ukraine, whose members would eventually form the core of the Azov Brigade. Here’s Parubiy actually wearing his replica Nazi uniform in 1989 and speaking at a Neo-Nazi rally as a younger man in Ukraine.

Andriy Parubiy in his 1989 Nazi-styled replica uniform praising Hitler in rambling speeches.

They’ve spent a lot more money burying Parubiy’s Nazi politics in the international press. That should tell you one thing – he’s likely far more dangerous than the others. One favourite trick is to “debunk” a minor semantic error. Though he has publicly praised Hitler numerous times, once he merely compared something to Hitler. That’s all you’ll find repeated ad nausea about Parubiy, it’s a distraction used like a political smoke bomb. They really think we’ll forget. But, before I forget here’s Trudeau posing pretty with Andriy Parubiy. That’s Justin’s soft version of Blue Steel and he loves to pull it out for Nazis.

Trudeau poses with Andriy Parubiy for those sunny black sun ways.

And of course I can’t show Trudeau without also showing Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland posing with Parubiy and, in all irony praising Ukrainian democracy even though Ukraine has already banned its largest opposition party by claiming it had ties to Russia. It’s a red herring, every single party and politician in Ukraine has had ties to Russia, even Chrystia’s beloved Petro Poroshenko).

Freeland with Parubiy. No need to dig for this one, she’s still proudly posting it on her Facebook page.
On the other hand, she does not post this photo of her carrying the OUN Nazi banner.

When they get caught praising Nazis they apologize for the “accident” or they claim it’s Russian “disinformation” until the photos come out. We’ll never know why Lantsman gave a standing ovation to a Nazi in parliament. Perhaps Lantsman was too blinded by her support for Zelensky to question his honoured guests or the shameless Nazi company he keeps. Perhaps she was too self-conscious about her own Russian heritage. And that’s unfortunate because Lantsman has tasted the blind hypocrisy of the Liberal government before. On February 16, 2022 after a question raised by MP Melissa Lantsman regarding the usage of the Emergencies Act, Trudeau replied, “Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas.” suggesting that Lantsman herself is a Nazi-sympathizer. Lantsman responded, “I am a strong Jewish woman and a member of this House and the descendant of Holocaust survivors. I have never been made to feel less except for today when the Prime Minister accused me of standing with swastikas. I think he owes me an apology. I’d like an apology.” Trudeau never responded to Lantsman’s request.

Never.

Addendum: The Liberal party has now sent in MP Karina Gould to explain how Trudeau wasn’t to blame. She has underlined her own Jewish heritage while calling for a cessation to the politicization of this mistake. It’s laughable coming from a party that habitually calls everyone under the sun a Nazi, even other Jewish MPs. They’re truly shameless.

There’s now an active effort underway by the CBC to brush away Yaroslav Hunka’s role in WWII stating he was active in 1944 after most Jewish victims of the Holocaust were already sent to concentration camps. As if somehow swearing fealty to Hitler after much of the worst was done would excuse an old Nazi his transgressions. Alas, this is well-documented history and Hunka himself has boasted that his artillery SS unit was stationed in Munich in December 1943 and in Neuhammer, Poland. That’s the same site where Hunka’s division was visited by SS head Heinrich Himmler and praised for their willingness to “slaughter Poles”. (Tristin Hopper even quotes that speech here.) Hunka was an SS exterminator sent to finish off Eastern Polish populations. He still posts photos of himself in Nazi uniform describing 1941-1943 as the happiest years of his life. This wasn’t about Ukrainian independence from Russians. Russians were Canada’s allies in WWII. Hunka probably never killed a single Russian – he was killing Poles. Remember your NATO ally Poland?
