Though I loathe to admit it, DeSantis is right when he describes Biden’s current and possible second term as a Weekend at Bernie’s Presidency. And DeSantis goes on to make an ever better point. Democrats knew Biden had succumb to dementia and major U.S. media networks only helped them cover it up. Most of us, who had been paying attention, already knew Biden’s mind had turned to goo. He was babbling like a fool when he swapped Egypt for Mexico. The Biden “abba dabba – raped by their in-laws and sisters – we beat Medicaid” debate performance was the same unmasking moment everyone had when Hillary was carried unconscious into her awaiting AmbuVan on 9/11 in 2016. Her one shoe left behind on the sidewalk might as well have been embossed in gold with the word “Presidency”… the same is now true for Biden.
There are many similarities in play. For years the Democrats lied about Hillary without hesitation. They insisted she was not ill or impaired in any way. When she was hospitalized for a “blood clot” in 2012 after suffering from “dehydration” after a “stomach flu” which resulted in a “fall”. (A tragic confluence of unfortunate events which rival Biden’s own and are equally insulting to one’s intelligence.) Democrats spent days pretending this did not pertain to her neurological condition. After mounting pressure to explain the cause of her blood clot or where it was located, her aides finally conceded that Hillary Clinton had suffered a concussion weeks earlier. (Though, they skillfully did not associate her concussion with her recent “fall”.) It’s worth noting that the Benghazi Attack occurred in September of 2012. Two whole years later, after persistent questions about Hillary’s health, Bill Clinton simply pretended that they had always been completely open about her “very terrible” concussion and described it as something that needed “six months of very serious work to get over”. Flippant and glib, at the time in 2014 concern about Hillary’s condition was still treated like a fringe conspiracy theory…
Of course, as soon as the 2016 election began, Hillary returned to “perfectly healthy”. Soon after she “fainted” and was wrangled into the AmbuVan, the lies began again. First she was “dehydrated”, later Bill Clinton fumbled while claiming it was “a simple flu”. To Charlie Rose Bill claimed she had “pneumonia” but in the live version of this same interview he accidentally let it slip that she received her severe concussion years ago, after a minor plane crash in Iran. Head injury? What crash? Iran? What happened to the “fall”? That interview was scrubbed and quickly re-edited to omit the Iran admission but, from time to time, parts of it still resurface. Her last “overseas” trip December 7th 2012 had been followed by a cancelled trip to North Africa (an oily way of not saying Libya). It was assumed her concussion had occurred around early December 2012 but she only traveled to the Czech Republic, Belgium, Ireland, and Northern Ireland, December 3-7, 2012. The closest she ever officially came to Iran at the time was her trip to Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Cairo, November 20-21, 2012. Much like a black hole, the triangulation of what Hillary was truly up to in 2012 seems to depend on the gravitational pull of her resulting injuries.
This depressing tale of lies does have a happy ending. A shameless monster of manipulation, war and suffering never did become President of the beautiful United States of America. That Donald Trump’s phenomenal luck benefited from both of these Democrat PR fiascos to earn a term as U.S. President really is a nod to the power of Irish luck.
