In Przemyśl – Ada Wordsworth describes her work on the Polish border.
It’s hard to believe anyone can look at this press spectacle yesterday and seriously suggest that we are getting quality reporting on this war, from individuals with any semblance of journalistic integrity. Three of them are interviewing the goddamned cat! If this is indeed a crime scene where a war crime has recently transpired, what are these people doing there? They’re contaminating every last speck of evidence, that’s what they’re doing. Why aren’t investigators descending on this site? Was evidence collected here before this MI5 / McKinsey joint project went “full promo”? And that’s the thing about manufactured war crimes. They’re always promoted faster than they’re investigated. Terrible war crimes did occur in Bucha, of that I have no doubt. There are vicious and capable individuals on all sides of this conflict. But, I have lingering questions.
People died in Bucha clutching recently-acquired Russian food ration boxes and bags of fresh vegetables. The Ukraine military says Russian troops are low on food yet they repeatedly distributed food to the citizens of Bucha and without reason they also decided to shoot those people dead? They didn’t even take back the rations! That is only one of many things which makes no sense about Bucha. The BBC reported that 67 bodies were buried by citizens in that church grave March 12th. It’s not a “mass grave” full of “genocide” it’s where locals were burying the dead. Why didn’t the mayor mention “war crimes” March 31st when he reported the Russian departure? April 3rd a video posted by Ukraine media showed Ukrainian soldiers with ropes on April 1st (the day they released this story), pulling dead bodies into the road in Bucha. The official explanation is that the bodies were rigged and soldiers were “securing the area”. This makes sense. But, the ropes are not long enough to actually evade IED/grenade range and, who pulls potentially explosive dead bodies onto a road instead of off?
Peace advocates with no sides taken in this war have all poured over the known evidence and can only seem to conclude that – it’s war. In Bucha events which took place in the course of this war seem to have been re-packaged by Ukraine as a single event to manufacture a “war crime” and generate outrage. Is it easy to call war deaths a “war crime”? Yes. Can this be disproved if no one is allowed to investigate the evidence? No. And we all know who stands to gain from lying. Zelensky desperately wants his “close the sky” nonsense (even if it nukes us all). He also wants more weapons and more millions. His people would do, say and quite probably kill anyone to get those things. McKinsey, aptly described as “heinous” and “cruel”, is there to hide Ukraine’s sins and make it happen. His war tourism guest Boris Johnson would love a political boost and for everyone to forget his covid parties. Lending MI5 to Zelensky while von der Leyen lights a candle for Bucha and invites Ukraine into the EU is such obviously orchestrated shell game schlock it’s sickening. Then again, the media vultures above who would revel in a V.I.P. invitation to a war crime scene are also to blame. They create the atmosphere of lies and “message control” which makes the ugly mess of war possible.
